The ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION SYSTEM achieves its goals through strict regulation, implementation, inspection and enforcement, and licensing procedures that help monitor air, land and water pollution in order to safeguard health, safety, welfare and natural resources. ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION SYSTEM also improves and coordinates the state's environmental plans, functions and educational programs in cooperation with the government and other public and private organizations and concerned individuals, and other parties while protecting the flora and fauna for compatible uses by the citizens.
